The progression of architecture has significantly evolved during the not-so-long span of my career. Conceptual planning methods have become more accurate, building performance, daylighting, and panelisation systems. All of these elements have allowed more authentic building expressions. However, the space outside of the building hasn't progressed in the same fashion. Are todays small urban public spaces better than they were 20, 40 years ago?
