Snake Tower
A parametrically driven symbiosis of a landscape form smoothly evolving into vertical form with attractor-based openings

Initial concept sketches

A conceptual design for an office tower consisting of a smooth gradient of the "skin" between solid roof flowing into a more open and transparent vertical facade. Public facing areas like the podium and verticual circulation act as a transparent "bridge" between the two sides of the building and between the building the ground.
The concept originated with showcasing specific parametric modeling techniques that can be easily utilised to generate complex fluid architectural geometry. The concept was then further developed to incorporate transient fluidity going from a horizontal to a vertical surface smoothly, as does the solid skin.
Concept Development
As is typical for projects involving this level of geometrical complexity, the project starts completely in three dimensions, where it is iteratively sculpted. Each subsequent iterations aims to be an improvement over the previous one, taking into account both functional and aesthetic qualities. Generating large column-free spaces is essnetial to developing the design.
