Youtube channel Intro

It’s a long-time coming, but I finally managed to create a proper channel intro. It has only 358 edits! Hehe, in all seriousness, these days, it seems I am making crazy videos in terms of production. Hopefully I get faster as I do more videos.

Here is a brief overview on what I talk about in the video and the four topics discussed:

1. Architects understanding on design projects

In these types of videos, we talk about why some places work so well from an architectural perspective. You will get an insight on how architectural elements influence the atmosphere and places

2. Design and graphics software tips, and tutorials

There are currently the most prevalent types of videos talking mostly about Blender. Blender is a great tool for architectural design, with unexplored potential that I am on a mission to show. Yes, it is also great for architectural visualisations, but it also as useful as Rhino and Sketchup for the conceptual design process. I also talk about the importance to talk about some software and not other subscription based software, because, you should be the owner of your files, without dependency to pay for being able to open them! More videos will be coming up covering Freecad, Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher, Krita, Rhino, Grasshopper, Procreate, and concepts

3. What it's like being an architect working on large international projects

This is one going to be a tough one to capture, since when deadlines call, it gets intense for the actual project, let alone producing content. But, let's see how it goes. Inspired by 30x40 Design workshop's beautiful videos showing sole practitioner talk about architecture, I want to show the other end of the architectural spectrum to you.

4. Tech for architecture and design

I love gear that can improve worklfows. I review tablets like the Remarkable, Wacom, Huion, iPad Pro, and 3dx connexion space mouse devices, regular mice, keyboards, lights, desk setups, and more.

About me I am a US licensed architect working, educated in Philadelphia and London, at the Architectural Association, DRL programme, and working in London with Adjaye Associates, AHMM, and for a while now at HOK. Here is my full bio: https://uhstudio.com/profile#dimitar
